PTSD Treatment
Online Therapy for PTSD for Adults in California, Wisconsin, and Florida
Has trauma made it hard to move forward and trust yourself?
Maybe a big event has happened that keeps you on high alert, or perhaps you are noticing yourself checking over your shoulder all the time. You may be feeling that you can’t trust other people, or simply feel like giving up.
Whatever it is you are experiencing, you are beginning to notice the impacts on everyday life:
Thinking about the past makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
You may notice you feel on edge and have a hard time letting your guard down around people and being yourself.
You notice you avoid things that are difficult and use unhealthy ways of coping to be okay.
You feel like it’s all your fault even though you did nothing wrong.
Treatment for PTSD can help
PTSD treatment helps you do these 3 things:
Understand what you are experiencing
Gain tools you need in order to help your body and mind feel safe and secure
Gain confidence in yourself and understand your unique needs so you can accomplish the things you want to do without feeling overwhelmed
I’ll help through the process by making sure to pay attention to your unique situation and tailor our work together so you can feel comfortable and supported. My approach to PTSD therapy comes from a place of attachment and connection with yourself: paying attention to your body and helping it gets its needs met and feel safe and secure.
Feeling overwhelmed and avoiding the past doesn’t have to be your story.
I can help you get there.
